In the heart of Taormina’s Ancient Theatre, the 26th edition of the TaoModa Awards turned a summer evening into a celebration of creativity—Italian and international alike. Surrounded by timeless architecture and the silhouette of Mount Etna, fashion, culture, and communication came together in an event that paid tribute to excellence in all its forms.

Also taking the spotlight was Carlo D’Amario, CEO of Vivienne Westwood, honored for his 50-year career, and designer Antonio Riva, celebrated for his couture vision and masterful craftsmanship that has earned global acclaim.
Fashion met sport with Luis Figo, the legendary footballer and style ambassador, while the world of theatre was represented by actress Lucrezia Lante della Rovere, a refined figure in Italian cinema. Other honorees included designer Diego Dolcini and Chinese fashion visionary Huizhou Zhao, admired by First Lady Peng Liyuan.
Artistic director Agata Patrizia Saccone emphasized the event’s focus on sustainability and women’s empowerment, announcing new partnerships with Rinascente and the Pistoletto Foundation.
One of the evening’s most moving moments came from designer Alberto Zambelli, who showcased models with cleft lip surgeries in collaboration with Smile House. Innovation also took center stage with the Sicilian start-up Narré, awarded for its creative approach.
